Oopps! I gave out the wrong e-mail address to the bellow message. It is
garyfprice@msn.com and not .net.. Really, anyone who knew my uncle Sgt. Joe Radecki, ball
turret, 324BS who flew at least 12 missions with Sherrill's crew prior to the Halle
mission of Aug 16th 1944, I wish that you would contact me about my uncle. We are trying
to find out if he was married to an English woman and if she was killed in the blitz on
London and anything in general about him and the crew he flew with.

My name is Gary F. Price, this is in addition to the comments of AJ Schure who is my
cousin, about my uncle Joe Radecki. Uncle Joe was wounded on the Aug 15th'44 mission to
Osthiem. He was on the crew of Halstead Sherrill, Sherrill's crew was shot down the next
day on the Halle mission and Sherrill was KIA. It seems that the regular plane they flew
was #337988, The BTO. Cousin Arnie is abit mistaken about the plane being the White Cargo.
The a/c Joe was in when wounded was Little Miss Mischief. If anyone has any info on my
uncle, Sherrill's crew, please contact me (garyfprice@msn.net) or Arnie

Hi!
Does anyone know anything about a plane-crasch in southern SWEDEN 1944 (I THINK it was in
may 22th) after a bomb-raid over Berlin? (B 17G from Bassingbourn with an American crew).
Pilot and co-pilot jumped over Germany (survived, POW), and the navigator (?) flew the
plane to Sweden, where the rest of the crew jumped. I think two of them where killed in
the cold water - one of them landed on my uncles boat. Please mail me if You have
information! Is anyone still alive, - and what really happened?
Cheers!

I just wanted to say thanks for all that members of the 91st Bomb Group did to win
WWII. My dad was in the army in Africa and Italy and had a lot to tell me over the years
about his experiences. I also want to say thanks to my friend Bob Dean who was a waist
gunner with the 91st.
Sincerely,
Dan Shub

I just wanted to thank you for all of the information that you provided me regarding my
late uncle,Porter D. Clemens. He flew with the 91st and was shot down in 'The Black Swan'
on Dec.31,1943.I have just found out that he flew his first 24 missions in 'Yankee Eagle'
and was a fill-in on 'The Black Swan' for his 25th mission, when he was shot down.I have
looked in the book 'Plane Names and Fancy Noses' for a photo of the nose art of 'Yankee
Eagle' and the only photo is not very good.I am hoping that someone can forward me a
better photo. Thanks again for all your help and feel free to view the newspaper articles
and POW postcards that I have posted at http://briefcase.yahoo.com/billsfords William

Read a book by Harry Crosby "A Wing And A Prayer". Was so taken with the
stories of the bomber crews that I had to do something. Built a 12 foot span model B17
powered by 4 weed wacker engines. I now fly this model at rc airshows through Forida. Have
met some fantastic people. Shoo Shoo Baby and the "Lucky Bastards" model warbird
club plan to meet many more this winter. Thanks, Doug Smith [check it out at

I'm looking for any and all information anyone might have on the "Yankee
Belle". She was a B-17 that flew in the 324th squadron of the 91stBG. I've found
information on her crew on this site, but am looking for detailed information concerning
her missions, what became of her, etc.
