Thunderbird Factoid - Photo taken 19 June '43. Thunderbird II carried the Indian motif, painted in red and white with red outlined black lettering. Forward of this design was the secondary title of "Marnita No. 2" and just below the side window gun port was "Mom," both painted in yellow. All the mission markings, including those for Marnita No. 2 were also in yellow although the latter markings were smaller, slanted diagonally and placed to the rear of the side window.
