Victor Hamrick: All the crew were lost on 17 April 1943 while on Mission 34 targeting Focke-Wulf-190 aircraft factory at Bremen; Aircraft 42-5337: "SHORT SNORTER III" call letters 401 LL-J (see story about the 3 planes called Short Snorter at: http://www.91stbombgroup.com/Mary_Ruth_Chapter_2.htm ) ditched into the North Sea due to damage from German Fighters or Flak.
