Ragged But Right (Crew 317) Factoid - The crew flew "Ragged But Right" from the states to Bassingbourn. The crew named the aircraft after the song Ragged But Right. They would sing the song on practices and missions. Photos above taken in 1944. The crew was later assigned to "Qualified Quail." This crew flew the "Qualified Quail" on its last mission when she crash landed in France on 14 January 1945. All 9 members survived the crash.
