Hell's Halo Crew Factoid - According to Larry O'Neil (in 2014), this is the photo of the Lead Crew. O'Neil believes the crew photo had to be taken in April 1944 as he flew his last mission on 28 April 1944 and this was the crew who took him to London to celebrate his last mission. Maj. Sheeler gave Larry O'Neil his DFC medal.
