Follett's Crew Factoid - On 21 June 1944, the 401st Bomb Squadron B-17 flown by Lt. John R. Follett was hit. All members of the original crew pictured above, except for F/O Marion H. Havelaar, Bombardier (no longer with the crew), became prisoners of war. The crew that day was:
